When did you learn to skate?

-I was 2 or 3 yrs old. My mom is a figure skating coach.

Did you play hockey growing up?

-I started playing hockey when I was 11 yrs old and haven't stopped.

What other sports did you play growing up?

-Volleyball, softball, and figure skating.

 

If you could do anything non-athletic in your spare time, what is it?

-Spending time on the boat in the ocean or a lake, with family and friends.

Describe going down an IceCross track for the first time:

- I felt like I was going so much faster than I really was. Once I got to the bottom, I wanted to go again but faster.

What first got you interested in the sport?
- I saw a race a long time ago on tv. I saw it again a couple years ago on instagram and found a Riders Cup race in LaSarre. I've competed in the North American races ever since.

If there is one piece of advice that you could offer new riders, what would it be?
-Skate fast. Don't fall. Have fun.

Who is your favorite sports athlete?

-Julie "The Cat" Gaffney from D2 mighty ducks because she was from Maine!
