About
When did you learn to skate?
-I learned to skate when I was about three years old.

Did you play hockey growing up?
-Yes I have played hockey since I could walk. I have a brother who is two years older then me so my parents snuck me on his team.

What other sports did you play growing up?
-I feel like I tried every sport growing up but the ones I stuck to in high school were hockey, soccer and lacrosse.
If you could do anything non-athletic in your spare time, what is it?
-Sing and Dance!

Describe going down an IceCross track for the first time:
-It is a pure adrenaline rush! You don't know what to expect until you are going down the track and still to this day when I get to the end of the track I look back and can't believe what I just did.

What first got you interested in the sport?
-I saw crashed ice on TV while watching with my Canadian friends out at Dartmouth College. They told me that I should try it once I graduated so when it came to the Xcel Energy Center, I tried out and haven't looked back since!

If there is one piece of advice that you could offer new riders, what would it be?
-Take it easy your first time going down a track and don't try to do what the top athletes are doing right off the bat. Get comfortable with the features, speed and technicality of the course.

Who is your favorite sports athlete?
-Mia Hamm and Cammie Granato are two people I looked up to when I was growing up!
