About
When did you learn to skate?
-I learned to skate at the age of 5.
Did you play hockey growing up?
-I grew up in Minnesota, so yes of course.
What other sports did you play growing up?
-I played baseball, lacrosse, tennis, ran track and field, raced dirt bikes and BMX, skied and snowboarded, I was a sponsored aggressive inline roller blader, rode wakeboard, and golfed.
If you could do anything non-athletic in your spare time, what is it?
-Lay on my couch and watch action movies!

Describe going down an IceCross track for the first time:
-Going down an ice cross track for the first time is kind of indescribable. It’s really similar to going straight down the steepest run at the mountain on skis and feeling that uncontrollable sensation right before you wipe out! Only in front of 100,000 spectators as well!

What first got you interested in the sport?
-A friend of mine got me into the sport.

If there is one piece of advice that you could offer new riders, what would it be?
-I would tell new athletes in the sport to definitely watch the more experienced athletes closely and do what they do. At least at first, then once you start to understand why it is the experienced athletes do what they do on and off the track and you can start to create a routine of your own.
